Snow in May

This is what it looks like outide the office today. There is a heavy snowfall warning for areas south of us in the province today so I am glad for once we are in the North!

I do feel sorry for my spouse today who is home with 2 young boys, one of whom would LOVE to be outside (the other is too young to know the difference I think).

I spoke to her at lunchtime today and she is having a devil of a time with the boys because our 2 year old thinks it is his responsibility to take toys away from the 10 month old and put them out of reach. I suppose since we have been taking toys from him and putting them out of reach for 2 years he thinks it is what "should" be done and is "helping".

I don't think he recalls that we only took toys away from him when he had taken them apart to the point they no longer resembled anything one would play with! I have no idea why he thinks he should be the supervisor of everything his little brother touches, but he has given himself that responsibility and he takes it seriously.
Here he is ... the toy police.

"The toy police" !! LOL It's nice to know that I'm not the only one with that problem.

"Give THAT back to HIM!!" "You need to learn to share." "Yes, that is HIS toy" Any of that sound familiar? I could put that on CD and just play the appropriate track. I wonder if I could make some money off that CD? Or put certain lectures on CD? Lecture number 1 - Why we don't hit. Of course, it would have to be age appropriate; put it into age groups, 2-4, 5-6, etc. We could even do them for adults! Ok, I got way off base with that one. Oh, wandering thougths.....
